Project overview

The QHotels collection is a group of hotels and resorts located across the UK, featuring a range of offerings such as spas, health clubs, and golf clubs. With the number of EV drivers on UK roads steadily increasing, EVC partnered with QHotels to futureproof their sites by installing EV charging facilities on-site.

EVC provided QHotels with a custom EV charging solution which will be implemented at 15 of their locations. In total, 300 fast (AC) and rapid (DC) charge points are being rolled out across these locations using EVC’s fully funded solution, whereby EVC covers the cost of the entire installation process. This includes ongoing maintenance and management of the chargers and 24/7 customer support to ensure guests always have a smooth charging experience. Each hotel has specific capabilities and requirements, which EVC determined through site visits, ensuring that we provided QHotels with EV charging solutions bespoke to each hotel.

Installation of EV charging demonstrates QHotel’s commitment to providing a convenient and comfortable stay, keeping guests satisfied so that they return time and time again. The ability for guests to seamlessly integrate EV charging into their stay greatly improves the guest experience at QHotels. It also helps to lower the business’s CO2 emissions from visitor travel, paving the way for sustainability in hotels.
