Baltimore Wharf is situated in a highly populated area of London on the Isle of Dogs. A residential complex comprising of over 1,000 units, Baltimore Wharf provides mass housing for families and city workers alike.
Understanding the need to future proof their site, property development company Galliard Homes contacted EVC regarding the opportunity to install EV charge points to allow residents and visitors to have accessible facilities.
Since installation, there has been nothing but positive feedback from all users here at Baltimore Wharf.

After an initial consultation, a site survey was undertaken to understand the location and supply of power for the charge points. Due to the location of the car park, it was decided that a feeder pillar was to be installed to supply the chargers and serve as a new point of connection. The initial install provided 4x EV charging bays with infrastructure in place to allow for a total of 20 bays, with the additional chargers to be seamlessly installed as demand increases to avoid any disruption to residents.
The installation process was completed within a week and was provided on EVC’s fully-funded solution meaning there was no capital outlay for Galliard Homes. EVC also provided a full management service for the EV chargers to guarantee uptime and to ensure all Baltimore Wharf residents have access to an EV charge point now and in the future.
