Project overview
EVC partnered with The Club Company to help meet the growing demand for EV charging facilities at golf and health clubs. The Club Company are a premium collection of Country Clubs that offer a variety of amenities, including Championship golf courses and health and fitness facilities - providing ideal locations for EV charging. The partnership will see around 300 EV charge points installed across 15 Clubs around the UK.
The Solution
With the installation of 300 EV charge points, members and visitors will be able to seamlessly integrate EV charging into their experience, eliminating range anxiety and ensuring they return from their visit to a full battery.
The installs are being fully-funded by EVC, covering the cost of the chargers, the installation, and ongoing maintenance and support to ensure a smooth charging experience for users. As a result of the partnership, The Club Company will see its doors open to a wider clientele, with accessible EV charging facilities often cited as the most important amenity for EV drivers when visiting a location.
To ensure the charging process is as accessible as possible for users, EVC have designed bespoke signage for the new charge points. The signage directs customers on how to use the chargers, complete with The Club Company’s branding.
